Absollut Apartments are a complex 2 bedroom self-contained luxurious apartment located 50 metres from the top of the Village Chairlift, Mt Hotham. These apartments overlook Village ski run and have a lift exclusive to this building with ski lockers in the ground floor lobby area. With stainless steel appliances the Absollut apartments are the next best thing to ski in ski out, @ Mt Hotham.
These apartments are definitely among the best at Hotham, with private lift access to the apartments, all the modern conveniences and a stunning outlook over the Village chairlift, with stunning views from the summit down towards Dinner Plain.
The bedrooms are all accompanied with their own bathroom, with bedroom one sleeping a queen bed, and bedroom 2 accommodating 4 people in a split queen bed & a set of bunks. With the sofa bed in the lounge these apartments can accommodate up to 8 people in comfort.
Mt Hotham is Victoria’s most unique alpine resort as the resort village is located on the top of the mountain and runs along the ridge line for about 2km from start to finish, conveniently the free village bus service means once you arrive to this impressive resort you don’t need your car, arrive, unpack and relax. The village bus starts before 7am and finishes when the last bar closes in the early hours of the morning (please note this bus only runs during the ski season). There is oversnow assistance for your luggage available for most properties- (there may be a cost associated). Most of the ski runs run down from the road so grab lunch or a coffee at one of the many cafes which have the most spectacular views.
With the Hotham airport (open during winter for domestic flights)20km down the road or jump on a bus from Melbourne with pick-ups from Southern Cross Station or Tullamarine Airport. It’s definitely one of the most accessible resorts . With budget properties through to ski in ski out apartments & chalets there is something to suit everyone. The 2013 ski season starts on Saturday 8th and finishes on Sunday 29th September.
